I'm still at a loss as to why anyone would even consider a $600 toy like this.

For the price, I can buy a laptop.

Why all the fuss? It's just a phone, I come to Toms to read reviews on PC parts.
I've changed computer magazines 3 times in the last 5 years as the mags over the time have had less and less computer info and more and more multimedia and phones.

Please less phone reviews and more chart updates and computer parts reviews.

The iPhone has some serious flaws. I wrote an article on it for Tom's Hardware recently.

Yes, it is kind of cheep for a toy, but it is just a cell phone, not a car. I don't think you should let the low price discourage you.

The "low price" is not the main thing that discourages me. The main thing is that it is not WORTH the "low price." Then again, that's par for the course with any Apple product. They offer very little value for the money.

Wait a month or so when people realise it doesn't do anything that other phones don't (besides pretty colours).

But hey, since it's on an Apple device Apple must have been the first to do it, right?

Whoever thinks the Iphone is cheap must be on some kind of drugs.

$600 on a two year contract for a phone that doesnt even have 3G is ridiculous.

K850 > iPhone.
